Application of ozone oxidation technology in wastewater treatment

Treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater by ozone oxidation technology

Because printing and dyeing wastewater contains azo dyes and other components, it leads to high chromaticity and difficult biochemical treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater.

At present, most separation methods such as flocculation and adsorption are used to treat printing and dyeing wastewater, but on the one hand, these methods are expensive, on the other hand, they do not completely degrade and remove azo dyes and other pollutants in the wastewater, which may cause secondary pollution.

Because of its high efficiency, ozone oxidation is suitable for the treatment of high chroma wastewater. At present, it is gradually applied to the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater.

Treatment of landfill leachate by ozonation technology

The biochemical performance of landfill leachate often decreases with the increase of the "age" of the landfill. The biodegradability of the leachate of aging landfill is low and is not suitable for direct biological treatment. It is usually necessary to carry out physicochemical treatment first to improve its biochemical performance, and then carry out biological treatment.

In addition, with the application of membrane treatment system in leachate, the biochemical performance of membrane interception and concentration leachate is often very low, and further biological treatment can be carried out only after physicochemical treatment. Therefore, in recent years, the treatment of landfill leachate by ozonation has gradually become a research hotspot.

Treatment of coal chemical wastewater by ozonation technology

The refractory organics and chroma in coal chemical wastewater are difficult to remove after secondary treatment. After advanced ozone treatment, the removal effect is obvious, which can significantly reduce CODCr, improve the biodegradability of effluent, reduce chroma, react quickly, have no strict requirements on pH, and the ozone in effluent can decompose quickly, with little impact on subsequent treatment facilities.

With the reduction of ozone preparation cost and the development of ozone related advanced oxidation technology, ozone has a broad application prospect in the advanced treatment of coal chemical wastewater.
